This is the finished base model for the weapon. (still unnamed)

I had to retweak it quite a bit for the UV map process, and it looks a little different to my concept drawing and idea. I tried to model it as logically as I could, so it might be able to actually work in real life. But I took the artistic freedom to create something that looked modern-steampunk you could say and that would look badass while zombie killing. I think I'm going to add some more detailing before I start the texturing and animating.

An animation project I'm working on at the moment named projectCM, this is a very personal project and the finished piece will be computer animated.

I got ahead of myself and started modeling assets for it but I thought I'd get an animatic done first. This is the first picture I produced for it and although it isn't much to go on so far, the colour of this animation is so vital to what the story is for me. So I will be spending a lot of time getting the look I want while creating this animatic. Expect more pics soon.

After a few long nights of working on this model (mainly on the texture maps -.-) I've come to a point where I'm happy with it.

Here's the final concept render.

And this is what it will most likely look like, no touch ups in Photoshop, these are raw renders of the model. [rendered in 3ds Max]

Glad to say that I'm currently working with Digital Coast as a modeler, and I'm working on the Source mod Zombie Survival. I'm currently working on a unique model of the Pack a Punch.

A few pack a punch concepts.

UPDATES: Been busy recently, but finally got the base sculpt finished for my fictional creature.

I'm not too sure about the shade of green, it just looks like an orc which isn't what I wanted, there is of course similarities but I wanted to deviate from them, trying to keep a human aesthetic. May go with a stony grey with a pinkish hue.

Progress has been slow on my Gray Fox project, but finally getting around to making the body base mesh.

Getting a bit of James Bond fever, decided to quickly make this.

May model Daniel Craig's head to go with it.

A study of the male anatomy.

I sculpted this in Blender. First time I've really got to grip with the sculpting tools, and I'm pleased with the end result.

Something else I'm working on at the moment is creating a low poly model and hi poly sculpt of a fictional creature based of my drawing and concept.

Some drawings I made that I've touched up in Photoshop.

Using multiple layers I messed around with the exposure and contrast levels to create the feel of depth with the lighting,
the hazy distorted look is something I really enjoy in this picture, although the original drawing's detail suffers. This is of my favourite band Foals who I have seen twice and wanted to recreate the atmospheric look of one of their shows.

I didn't do much to this picture, the original was already perfect to me. I love the subtle detailing on the features of her face which really stands out, contrasting with her wild hair. The unfinished look is something I've grown to love in my drawings, I never feel satisfied when I 'complete' a drawing and so leaving it unfinished just makes me happy weirdly.

I think the roughness and the shadows really came together when I applied a few filters to this image, its almost ghostly and surreal and pulls in the viewer to his gaze.

Again I just focused purely on the face and its features, not going in to too much detail with his wrinkles but still getting the sense he is aged.

I went for a very sketchy approach with this drawing, I drew it very quickly, and although I don't like the original drawing much, the shadows coming from the sides of the picture unintentionally created depth, and the bold lines really elevate it, creating the sense of action I wanted.
Yannis from Foals. I simply love how this turned out.
